Camels & Lions watched some of the best talents and newcomers at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany. The Reeperbahn Festival is Germany’s largest club festival presents more than 400 wide-ranging events in over 70 venues on 4 days. We had the choice between more than 300 upcoming bands, and these we choosed:

Fyfe
Straight the first concert was a highlight for me. I looked forward to Fyfe. Fyfe is the 23-year old Brit Paul Dixon. His Debut-EP Solace is one the best records 2013 if you ask Camels & Lions. He played at Prinzenbar, a really nice place to play in Hamburg. What a great show and we could listen to some new songs, too.

Yast
This band from Malmö, Sweden wasn't at our list at first. But I got a hint from Eva from Regnsky. A big surprise! YAST is definitely a band to watch out. Dream-pop-rock whatever, for fans of Kurt Vile. They played at Molotow Bar, a small stage but with a great atmosphere.

Mojo Club was the next place to be. Ghostpoet is like an elephant on stage. Even if there was a technical issue during the concert, Ghostpoet's presence on stage is filled with great energy. Live he puts the songs to a next level. Fantastic experience!

Notes: Short visits to Tove Lo in Angie's Nightclub and to Chlöe Howl at the hopeless jam-ful Prinzenbar. What a fantastic thursday with these artists and concerts!
